Fabrication of Concrete Countertops Concrete countertops are an excellent choice when designing or updating a home or business...and although we have customers as far away as Houston, TX, when you live in the geographic region of El Paso, TX you have the opportunity to have your custom creations fabricated locally. Our 6,000 square foot fabrication facility located on the east side of El Paso, TX provides our customers easy access to a custom concrete countertop manufacturer. All of our customers receive custom built countertops. While maintaining competitive pricing, there are no off the shelf, mass produced countertops sold by Creative Concrete Xpressions. One of the features of concrete is its versatility. Concrete can be handcrafted and formed into almost any shape during the fabrication process. Our fabrication process allows custom building our molds to meet your design specifications. This includes the edge you have chosen to provide the countertop or concrete table a design element other countertop products can’t offer. Do you prefer a traditional 1-1/2" edge or do you like the look of a 6" front edge? Weight is of course a consideration of the design and fabrication process. Creating the desired look can be accomplished using fabrication techniques such as glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC). This is a material that enables concrete products to be created at a much lighter weight than would be traditionally expected. When we pour the concrete into the mold we add colored glass or other aggregates to the concrete. Fiber optics, sea shells, inlays or other unique items can also be added during the custom fabrication process. Once the concrete has cured we grind the surface to expose the glass or other aggregates. An acid wash can be used to provide more color variations. We finish the process by applying a sealer and polishing your custom concrete countertop.
